méfiate avec istopmotion
Une amie avait la version 2.1 et sur son mac et on à jamais réussi à faire marché un canon 1000d
pour mettre à jour à la 2.5 il fallait changer l'os du mac et en changeant l'os du mac les drivers pour les canons ne fonctionnaient plus il fallait acheter la version 3....
ils sont pas net istopmotion sur les bugs pour la connexion de DLSR canon avec leur soft

Important Note regarding Canon DSLRs: Unfortunately most Canon DSLR cameras are no working on Mac OS X Snow Leopard prior to v 10.6.8.
Even if the list below might state that it is required to switch your camera into "PTP Mode", this might actually not be necessary, depending on firmware version and camera revision. If your camera has no setting for PTP Mode, you will very likely not have to set it.

si tu as une version en dessous de la 2.5 c'est cette liste là

a force d'essais avec un 2 logiciels tiers :
canon eos utility pour avoir le liveview sur l'écran
et un utilitaire (camtwist)qui envoie ce qu'il y a sur l'écran dans un protocole vue (comme une webcam) par istopmovie on arrivait à un truc
mais c'était trop galère niveau manip
